Effeminate Ashur was born with severe anxiety and it was only until his sub par augmentations were installed that he overcame his fear of machines. Being born into a family with a history of service in the Delian League as well as Casso's regime it was nothing out of the ordinary for him to follow in his father's footsteps. This did not help Ashur coping with his anxiety over death and loss at all. A bloodied, shell shocked and scared Ashur demanded retribution for the death of his close family and set off to be a part of the 808th Desert Sweeper Battalion to keep the war zones clear of these underground hot potatoes. He's seen action on nearly every colony in Delian possession, and even served on the taboo moon Radius, where the infamous Artificial Intelligence Rebellion took place resulting in the death of over 800,000 colonists. It is rumored that he sings lullabies of his childhood to himself in his thin German-like voice as he disposes of dangerous explosive ordinance.

In order to face his fears because his below average R.I.G unit hadn't cured him of his anxiety Ashur pops maximum dose Xerxetin anti-anxiety pills and can often be seen lackadaisically sweeping the fields for bombs in a near permanent tranquilized euphoria.
